Since our inception in 2005, we have been committed to providing stability and security for individuals transitioning from incarceration back into communities.

Our Mission

Guide and Empower Returning Citizens

T.O.R.I.’s mission is to guide and empower returning citizens to maximize potential, increasing their opportunities for successful integration into a society and to become productive citizens of their communities.

What we do

Comprehensive Support Services

We address the unique needs of each individual through six core components

Spiritual Guidance

Professional team of trained, faith-based mentors for spiritual counseling and connections with chaplaincy services.

Employment

T.O.R.I. provides each client with the job skills necessary to gain and maintain employment.

Education

Assisting with job readiness, resume building, and connecting participants to background-friendly employers.

Housing

T.O.R.I. partners with shelters, transitional housing programs, property owners and housing authorities to assist clients and their families in finding a place to call home.

Family

Support in the form of classes, trainings, family support services, and referrals are provided to increase family reunification.

Healthcare

We provide the necessary resources to our clients to assist in obtaining healthcare coverage and connections to affordable health clinics and pharmacies.
