Professional services firm STEMconnector has released the first installment in a yearly report “The State of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in STEM: 2021,” as a part of its commitment to creating greater awareness and adoption for DEI in STEM. This report attempts to quantify the current state of DEI in the STEM workforce by offering supporting data that examines diversity statistics, as well as the business case for DEI. The first installment focuses primarily on gender, racial and ethnic diversity data. Future reports will look at other aspects of diversity such as age, (dis)ability, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and more. Visit STEMconnector to download the full report.
Together, we can and will get through this.
